What is eyebrow tinting

It is a beauty treatment, that adds semi-permanent color to the hairs. The dye coats each hair, so blonde, grey or faded strands become visible again and the line gets clear definition. Depending on the formula, the tint may also leave a light stain on the skin for a few days, which makes the brows look fuller right after the visit.

We mix every tint by hand. A custom blend can be slightly darker than your hair for a stronger frame, or close to your natural tone for a subtle finish. The color is blended softly at the front and the tail, so there are no harsh edges.

How do we pick the shade? Blondes usually get a tone one or two shades darker than their hair, brunettes a tone close to their own, and redheads a warm brown. For grey strands we mix a custom formula that covers them evenly. The goal is a soft, blended frame that enhances your features, not a heavy line.

Unlike permanent makeup, this treatment works only on the surface of the hair. There is no downtime, swelling or healing period, and you can use your usual makeup the next day.

Brow tinting is ideal for:

How long does eyebrow tinting last

On average, the result lasts 3–6 weeks on the hairs and 2–5 days on the skin. Several things affect the time: your natural hair growth cycle, oily or dry skin, sun exposure and the products you use on your face. Exfoliating acids, retinol and oil-based cleansers make the dye fade faster. In Dubai, strong sun and frequent swims in chlorinated pools also speed up fading, so sun protection and gentle care make a real difference.

To keep the color fresh longer:

• no water, steam or sauna for 24 hours
• gentle, oil-free cleanser
• no scrubs or peels near the brows
• no harsh skincare products on the area
• SPF on sunny days
• tinting touch-up every 4–6 weeks

As new hairs grow in, the shade softens gradually rather than disappearing at once. Many of our clients book maintenance every 4–6 weeks, often together with a shape correction. A tinting treatment also pairs well with lamination: the hairs look groomed, glossy and set in place.

What to expect during the tinting procedure

Every treatment starts with a short chat about your routine, allergies and the look you want. The whole visit takes about 30 minutes. Here is what happens:

• Step 1 — consultation, shade and shape choice.
• Step 2 — makeup removal and cleansing.
• Step 3 — brow mapping and outline.
• Step 4 — tint applied, 5–10 minutes processing.
• Step 5 — removal, shaping, soothing care.

Most clients feel only a light coolness while the tint works. We use professional products made for the delicate brow area, and the specialist checks the color every couple of minutes to ensure an even result.
