A warm welcome to It’s Beauty salon. We’re glad you’re here. For nail extensions, we keep it calm and careful. We use soft gel tips (Gel-X) or a builder-gel overlay, prep with a light e-file tidy, and cure under LED. Choose short round, almond, or square; we shape for daily comfort, set length in millimetres, and infills are usually every 2–3 weeks. And yes, bring a photo and we’ll match the desired look.

REVIEW US

ABOUT US

We believe a proper nail extension should fit the person wearing it, not just their nail bed, but their style, pace, and budget. That’s why our nail technicians are trained in everything from acrylic overlays to builder gel and hard gel nail extensions. We work clean, we work fast, and we don’t recommend services you don’t need.

You’ll find Luxio, MAL, and Kinetics on our shelves. Not because they’re trendy, but because they last. Our timing is realistic: a full manicure usually takes around 90 minutes, start to finish. We’re not in a rush, and neither should you be.

Whether you’re into sculpted acrylics, flexible gel nails, or just want to stop your brittle nails from splitting every other day – we’ll help you find what works. We serve women across Dubai and Abu Dhabi with one goal: leave with better nails than they came in with.

Nail Extensions Near Me For Any Occasion

Nail extensions can restore length and shape, or just make your nails look healthier than ever.

Depending on your goal, you can choose short almond tips for a natural, low-maintenance look, or long stiletto extensions for a bold, sculptural effect. Either way, you’ll leave with natural nails that last. Either way, you’ll leave with natural nails that last.

Our extensions come in various shapes and lengths, from subtle almond to sharp stiletto. The polish? Fully cured gel for a glossy finish, or matte if you’re into the soft look. At It’s Beauty Salon, we use odor-free, high-quality materials that hold their shape and color.

Nail Extension: Different Types Explained

Not all nail artificial enhancements are made the same. The best nail extensions depend on your nail condition, lifestyle, and how natural or bold you want the final result to look. Below, you’ll see the most common types we offer at It’s Beauty Salon.

Acrylic Nail Extensions

ChatGPT Image 24 июл. 2025 г., 13_03_59.jpg

Acrylic nail extensions are made by combining liquid monomer and powder polymer – creating a solid overlay that air dries. Acrylics are durable, structured, and ideal for longer lengths or those who tend to be tough on their nails.

Great for defined shapes and long wear.

Gel Nail Extensions

Gel nail extensions feel more flexible than acrylics and can be built using hard gel or builder gel. Cured under UV or LED light, they’re known for a more natural appearance and better comfort during wear.

Best for a lightweight feel and smoother grow-out.

Polygel Nail Extension

ChatGPT Image 24 июл. 2025 г., 12_58_49.jpg

Polygel is a hybrid of acrylic and gel – thicker than builder gel, softer than acrylics. It’s odor free and only hardens when cured under a lamp, allowing technicians to sculpt without time pressure.

Good for flexibility, strength, and a more natural look.

Hard Gel Extensions

Hard gel extensions are all about a strong, flexible finish that mimics the feel of natural nails. Unlike acrylics, they cure under a lamp and don’t harden in the air, thus, giving your technician more control in shaping. They’re great for achieving desired length without bulk, and hold up well under day-to-day wear.

Looking forward to having durable natural nails? Don’t like the thickness or feel of acrylics? Then go for hard gel! The finish is lighter, often glossier, and the grow-out is smoother.

Acrylic Nails vs Gel Nail Extensions: Which Is Better?

If you're deciding between acrylic nail extensions and gel nail extensions, the right choice depends on what you want from your manicure. Some women go for structure and bold shapes, others are more into comfort and a more natural appearance. Here's how they compare:

FeatureAcrylic NailsGel Nails

FlexibilityRigid, you’ll feel the structureMoves with the nail, more natural feel

How to Choose the Right Nail Extension Type for You

ChatGPT Image 24 июл. 2025 г., 13_33_00.jpg

There’s no perfect option – just what fits your nails and lifestyle.

If your nails are weak, soft gel or builder gel is generally safe. Flexible, lightweight, and less likely to cause damage.

If you’re tough on your hands, go for acrylic or polygel. Acrylic’s solid and time-tested. Polygel’s lighter, easier to file, and doesn’t smell like chemicals.

Just look through, to find out more about best nail extensions:

  • Soft Gel – Thin, natural-looking, flexible. Needs regular fills.
  • Builder Gel (BIAB) – Strengthens short or growing nails. Smoother than acrylic.
  • Acrylic – Hard, durable, no-nonsense. Slightly bulkier.
  • Polygel – Hybrid feel. Strong but easier to shape.
  • Press-ons – Cheap, fast, temporary. Good for short stints, not long-term wear.

Not sure? Let one of our techs take a quick look. They’ll size up your nails and tell you straight what’ll hold up.

Builder Gel and Hard Gel: What's the Difference?

People mix these up all the time, and to be fair, they’re closely related. Builder gel is a type of hard gel. But they behave a little differently once you start working with them. The main differences come down to texture, control, and what kind of nail you’re trying to build.

Nail Art Options for Every Nail Extension Type

ChatGPT Image 24 июл. 2025 г., 13_37_25.jpg

Nail art can be as subtle or bold as you like. Gel nails allow for thin brush detailing and clean ombré blends. Acrylics hold rhinestones and 3D shapes better. Polygel gives a strong base for modern styles without weight.

Ask for nail art when booking – or decide in the chair. We keep a diverse range of designs on hand.

How Long Do Acrylic and Gel Extensions Last?

Don’t know how long acrylic and gel nail extensions actually last. With proper maintenance, you can expect the following wear time:

Extension TypeDuration
Acrylic Nails3 to 4 weeks
Gel Nail Extensions2 to 3 weeks
PolygelAround 3 weeks

Aftercare Tips for Long-Lasting Gel and Acrylic Nails

Good nails last longer with small habits. Here’s what to keep in mind:

  1. Wear gloves when washing dishes or cleaning — water and chemicals break down products faster.
  2. Use cuticle oil daily to keep the skin around your nails soft and prevent lifting.
  3. Don’t use your nails as tools — no popping cans, peeling labels, or poking at packaging.
  4. Book a quick fix if you see any lifting or cracks. Waiting makes it worse.

A little care goes a long way. Your natural nails stay healthier, and your extensions look better – for longer.
